VETERINARY CLINICAL COMPLEX


The Veterinary Clinical Complex, Veterinary College & Research Institute, Salem started its functioning erstwhile at Veterinary Dispensary, Aragalur from 08.09.2020 on ad hoc basis. Honourable Vice Chancellor, TANUVAS initiated the commencement of clinical activities in the permanent building in Veterinary Clinical Complex at Veterinary College & Research Institute, Thalaivasal Koot road, Salem on June 3rd, 2022.

Infrastructure and facilities

The clinical campus is one among the largest Veterinary Clinical Campuses in India. It is established in a total area of area of 48,861.16 sq. ft (Ground floor 27,394.96 sq. ft & First floor-21,466.20 sq. ft) to provide primary, specialized and emergency medical care to small and large animals in around the locality and to train the students in veterinary clinical subjects The campus is equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities such as Endoscopy, Large and Small Animal Ultrasound scanning, Echocardiography, Electrocardiogram, Computerized Radiography, Haemodialysis Unit, Intensive Care Unit for small animals, Exclusive Dermatological Unit for pets, Operation theatre with all essential amenities for small and large animals, Exclusive large and small animal inhalational anaesthetic apparatus and fully equipped veterinary diagnostic laboratory.
