DIRECTORATE OF EXTENSION EDUCATION

The Directorate of Extension Education has the following Objectives:

Objectives

To plan and execute all extension programmes and activities in consultation and cooperation with the Deans and Directors of various faculties.
To have close collaboration and coordination of extension work based on the record of the University with other service departments.
To act as the principal liaison officer for dealing with other agencies that are concerned in the matter of Extension Education.
To supervise and control the extension education activities of the University.
To disseminate the research findings of the University and publish extension bulletins, News Letter, circulars, etc., summarizing the important research findings for the benefit of the farming community.
As Member Secretary of the Extension Education Council, to formulate and present the policies and programmes of the Extension Education activities of the University to the Extension Education Council.
