Veterinary College and Research institute, Salem library was established with well-equipped modern facilities to support the academic, research and general informational needs of the students and faculties. The library is located in a separate building (10512.52 square feet) with following infrastructure facilities:

Reprography room (225 sq.ft.)
e-Library room (678 sq.ft.)
Binding room (225 sq.ft.)
Committee room (465 sq.ft.)
Own book reading room (387 sq.ft.)

Objectives

To support the educational and research programs by providing access to information consistent with the present and anticipated educational and research functions of this institute.
To provide the opportunities for the students to develop the knowledge and skills to access library resources.
To provide facilities for all teaching, learning, educational and research programmes.
To provide a secure and conducive learning environment for the use of library resources.

LIBRARY WORKING HOURS

On Weekdays: 9.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. (Monday to Friday)

On Saturdays: 9.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m.
