BACKGROUND
The department of biochemistry was started during 1985 on the same year when the Veterinary College and Research Institute started functioning at Namakkal. The subject of biochemistry is taught in the first, fourth and fifth year of BVSc course and minor course for some of the disciplines of the MVSc subjects from 1994.

INFRASTRUCTURE
